HOSA attends Fall Rally

On October 15, 2015, 23 Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), along with Dr. Espinoza, attended their Fall Rally in Perry, Georgia. This is a time when people get to compete about their knowledge with HOSA. This means that all of the healthcare knowledge will be on the table for competition. They also got to hear a motivational speaker and meet other students participating in HOSA from all over the state of Georgia. After all of those health care activities, the students take a break and get the chance to ride amusement park rides and have fun with their friends.

There has been much talk about the hype of Fall Rally. A lot of students were excited about participating this year. For all members, this was a very exciting event. “I really enjoyed the keynote speakers and the rides,” Alexandra Granger said. Aziza Griggs mentioned how fun it was and how she is looking forward to next year’s Fall Rally. “I really enjoyed myself and I can’t wait until next year,” she exclaimed. Many students have even come up to HOSA members and tell them how next year they will be looking forward to joining HOSA. “It seemed like everyone who went had fun,” freshman Aleesia Hairl said. Next year will be fun as well but different. If there are any suggestions about what should be included for next year, Dr. Espinoza is open to hearing them.

Dr. Espinoza was very pleased with the group that she took. “HOSA behaved well, and if they think they had fun at Fall Rally, they will enjoy Fall Leadership.” If you are interested in any future HOSA events notify Dr. Espinoza or a member of HOSA. There is still an open opportunity in Joining Health Occupations’ Students of America. On Thursday 29, 2015, there will be a CTSO Halloween event. If you think Fall Rally was exciting, wait until you hear about the Halloween Party.
